BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD WILL LAUNCH A REUNION TOUR THIS SUMMER
Neil Young, Stephen Stills, and Richie Furay form the triumvirate of singer-songwriter-guitarists that made Buffalo Springfield one of the most influential bands in rock and roll. Rounding out the line-up are Young's longtime bassist Rick Rosas, filling in for the late Bruce Palmer, and Crosby, Stills & Nash drummer Joe Vitale sitting in for the late Dewey Martin.
NEIL YOUNG ANNOUNCES SPRING 2011 SOLO TOUR DATES
Neil Young will embark on a solo tour that will kick off on April 15th in Durham, NC, and conclude on May 7th in Chicago. The tour, which will include stops with a pair of nights at Boston's Wang Center and two shows at the prestigious and intimate Avery Fisher Hall in NYC's Lincoln Center, will cover songs from his current acclaimed album, "Le Noise" as well as classic tracks performed in both electric and acoustic settings.
NEIL YOUNG WINS 2011 GRAMMY AWARD FOR "BEST ROCK SONG" FOR "ANGRY WORLD" OFF HIS GRAMMY-NOMINATED ALBUM "LE NOISE"
The eight-song "Le Noise," Young's most critically acclaimed album in years, is a collaboration with multiple Grammy Award-winning producer Daniel Lanois. "This is my first Grammy for music, and it's appreciated greatly," Young said.
